hospital proceedure

I know, it looks like I need to clean the lens, but honestly those specks are paragliders. There were 19 or 20 gliders up over Rushop hill as we drove back to the hospital today.
It prompted a discussion on what do you call a group of gliders, we ended up with 'a chute of paragliders', unless you know better....
Also, must carry the camera in the car, the phone camera is ok, but the other would have been better.

Anyway, a week ago steve was told to come back to hospital to have staples and other things removed. he was told to ring at 10am, someone else said ring at 9am, so he did, and 5 past, 10 past, quarter past, you get the picture

The answer phone was on until 10am, then someone helpfully told him, ah, patients for removal dont usually come in until 6pm. They could have told him that last week and then we could have enjoyed the last fine day for a while, boo.
so, we turn up, nurse says I'll take those staples out now......., 45 minutes later she comes to do the job,its not as bad as it might have been. the other job will not be done until the morning. Steve will then have to wait for doctor to release him.
I watched the film '127 hours' last night, gruesome but a tribute to human will to survive, tonight I'm watching Hurt Locker, tell you tomorrow what I think of that one :)
