Bruichladdich 1994 Carmel finish

We discovered Bruichladdich whiskey about a year ago, unfortunately it's not easy to find it here, especially not in bars. After a long search R discovered that you can find the whiskey at Norma Jean.

This is a bottle is aged in bourbon casks for 14 years before being finished in casks from the Carmel winery in Israel. It is a strange mix - after all how would the two come together but apparently the CEOs of both companies met on plane and after discovering what each was doing, they decided to do something together. so Carmel sent their casks over to Scotland and thus was born the limited edition of whiskey with Carmel finish.
