On a Quest

In my neighbourhood, there are about thirty places to drink coffee, about five places that sell balsamic vinegar and fair-trade chocolate. You can book a flotation tank and gaze upon a whole wall of essential oils. But can you get any sellotape?

Eventually, yes, at this new supermarket, the size of airport terminal, twenty minutes walk away. And even then it was 75p for diminutive roll which could easily have been concealed in the fist which you might have waved defiantly in the air as you by-passed the checkout and headed for the travelator that took you to the bus stance at Arrivals.
