Today is one of those days, a footnote in history to be as another one added to my less than youthful age. But perhaps it would be rather more apt thinking about that day in the mid nineteen seventies when this strange creature (later to be known as me) arrived upon the Earth (we all have a hard time believing that I was born on this planet... one of these days I believe they might even come back to find me).

Fast forward 37 years and here I am trying really hard to make light over the encroaching milestone that is not more than a stones throw away. Still, the kids enjoyed giving me presents this morning ;)
