Burn in spate, Glendaruel

Yet another day of incessant rain - this must be the wettest summer and autumn we have ever experienced here in Argyll. The ground is sodden and the burns are all in spate. This one spills out beside the road on the way from Glendaruel to Colintraive. I passed it this evening on my way home and the water was roaring down the little rock face, under the almost leafless trees and between the clumps of heather and bracken that surround it.
