Concert

I'm amazed of the rich music life on this little island. On Sunday I watched a great performance in the beautiful little Anglican church in Ganges. It was The Saltspring Chamber Orchestra under direction of Jim Stubbs. They played Dvorak, Vivaldi and Mendelssohn. This orchestra is composed of local amateurs as well as some internationally acclaimed professionals.

The picture is taken in available light, with quite long exposure time. So the movements of the conductor are not frozen.
