Oak branch

Are acorn cups used by a fairy
To milk cowslip-dew from a dairy?
No, they hang from the twig
Of an oak that is big
To keep acorns secure in mid-airy.

This silhouette is exactly as it looked to the naked eye; the photo is untweaked. It does look a bit like a close up section of a Frisian cow's hide, though, doesn't it!
