Kite Franzy

A friend who lives near this beach facebooked me to say there was a kitesurf competition on and to get over there with the big lens.

I followed orders and stood on a freezing cold cliff top for half an hour clicking away. Photos of kitesurfers are very difficult as, its always windy, they move fast and the 2 interesting bits (the colourful Kite and the person) are about 40 metres apart so its hard to do closeups.

In the end I chose this as its unusual to see this many people on the water at one time. I also chose a nice hot cup of tea to thaw out my fingers.
