Photo Trip

First photo trip of the newly revived Manipur Amateur Photo Club (formerly Imphal Amateur Photo Club) to Nungshigram Hills at Keibi of Imphal East District - documenting the battlefield of Nungshigram Hills during WW-II beetween the Japanese and the allied forces. Seven hours long round-about trekking/climbing along the hills ranges photographing and at the same time enjoying the Gooseberries (Amla) and Guava and local Heirit which are abundant there. Reach the summit at noon and had luncheon of chow, macroni, buns, bread, yoghurt, apples etc.

On reaching the other side in the afternoon, engaged two village elders who'd seen the battle with their own eyes, to relate the vivid scenes of the battle and their aftermath.

The trip concluded successfully with a dinner of chicken, rice, dal, boiled mustard leaves and the exquisite iromba.
