Big Eyes

This little bushbaby has been orphaned and will be raised by a local resident who owns a bird park, aquarium and reptile farm. His daughter attends our school and brought him to show us. She is very fortunate to be in such close contact with the varied and unusual animals that they look after. For show and tell earlier in the year she brought a lion cub to school.

A Nagapie ( translated from Afrikaans means night monkey) is a nocturnal creature and as you can see it has gorgeous big eyes. It was so alert and curious watching all of us watching him!

I had a very busy day today at school and felt tired at the end of it.

Thank you daughter T for making us supper tonight - delicious chicken stirfry - and now I am off to bed to rest!
