It was only a matter of time and today we've seen our first kangaroo (not counting the one I ate earlier in the week, feeling a bit sorry about that now) and our first koalas! What a day!

We headed out early to check out some art galleries and after a deviation past a market (via a stall selling rocky road), we caught a bus headed for the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. It's a bit of a cheat to go and see roos and koalas in captivity but we heard it was a good place to visit and it was. We spent most of the day there and saw koalas of all ages being very fussy about which leaves they would eat. We saw Kangeroos and joeys and an amazing platapus.

Tomorrow we head up the coast to Noosa in search of some surf.
