Yum!

The sponge was so buttery, light and melted in your mouth. The cream whipped to perfection. The lemon curd was home made and had just the right amount of lemon through it to gently draw your cheeks together. The combination was mouth watering. My goodness that Scarlett Haberdashery can bake a mean cake. My only regret is that I don't live with her so had to leave knowing that someone else would eat the rest of it without me!!!!

Given that it will probably be Jim, the Birthday Cowboy, who does the scoffing I don't think I can really complain. It was lovely of him to share though. Happy Birthday Jim x
