Behold . . . !

The new door - being used by Ollie! So satisfying to have a door where before there was just a tiny window. This is going to be our back door, from the new kitchen into the back garden.

So cold today. Sleet and hail, and heavy rain as well. When Ollie and I went for a walk today I really needed my hat and gloves. It's really nice, in a way, to be properly into winter. None of this dithering about how many layers, boots or shoes, jacket/coat/or big cardie. Now you know - it's winter boots and a proper coat and a big scarf! And the woolly tights too! Brrrr . . . !
