well since I was measuring up the new house for furniture, it would have been wrong of me not to walk the 800metres down the street to check that bondi beach was still there. And what do you know, it is! blue skies and 25 degrees today. lovely. the house is going to be fab as well. Really super space, both inside and out. depending on how M is feeling tonight there may be an ikea trip ahead of us. I imagine a cheap Swedish hot dog will be lure enough for him after a long day at work ;)

Spent a couple of hours this afternoon in quarantine with megabop. She seems to be surviving in the heat, unlike the sunburnt staffy, 'vinny', in the pen next to her. Brits abroad ay!

had a surreal moment driving in the blazing sunshine and heat, with windows down due to broken air con, across sydney's pyrmont bridge as Men at Work, Down Under, came blasting through the radio. not the only event today which has made me take stock of how far away we are here.
