Late Bloomer

After a season of lushness and a bountiful harvest, it's all looking very tired at the community Polytunnel - but there was this beautiful and very neat little sunflower just preparing to bloom - fingers crossed it makes it thought the anticipated heavy frost on Thursday night!

I am also a total sucker for their alien appearance at this stage!
