Bowling along

Up to Glasgow today to attend an auction, 1st time I have been to one. My neighbour had a few bits & pieces in and Wendy's first lot was estimated at £50 to £80, well it went up & up and reached £380, great excitement from both of us...all the other lots also did well.
Had tea, roll on sausage & tea and cake at various times during the auction and also managed to visit a bead shop near the SECC in between lots and we were back in time for the last lot Wendy was selling. Some Hummels were in the auction and they sold at a lot cheaper than in the shops, working out at about £12 each + commission, so may well go back and bid some day.

Do not like to go & come back the same way, so headed west to go over the Erskine Bridge and to Bowling to blip. But as it is a very dull day the blips of the harbour are too dark, so underneath the railway are the walls covered with ivy and thought they look interesting. Wonder what the bricked up parts were used for in days gone by?
