Painting knitting

After a lace design workshop I decided to have a go at painting a lace shawl. The challenge was to paint soft, drapes of fabric. Defined stitch patterns and light shining through an ethereal creation.

I love the cross over from one creative outlet into another. The change in method and technique leads to new discoveries.
