Kowhai yellow

I sat under the kowhai tree for quite a while today enjoying the sun and trying to get a shot of the bees doin' their pollenising however after a while I gave up, so no bees in this one.
I missed most of the day catching up on sleep after spending last night at a gig then having a lovely gathering with some musos whilst listening to a 6 hour Flaming Lips song.
Time to knuckle down for exams now though, 6 days to go!
