LET THERE BE HOPE FOR A BETTER WORLD

A big day for the nation today. Every year Norwayhas a television (NRK) Telethon. The NRK Telethon is the world's largest voluntary community initiative and this year the funds raised goes to Norwegian People's Aid's work to clear mines, cluster munitions and other remnants of war and conflict.
For you that have followed my journal, maybe you remember my trip to Laos and the project we visit. The trade union is proud to support Norwegian People's Aid.

100 000 people will use 2 hours to visit all the homes in the country, and collect money. Last year the norwegian people gave 208 000 000 Crones!

My Love and I will be two of the 100 000 people, and we will go here in Kristiansand (or Søgne) and hope to be well received :-)
