seedhead

This beautiful seedhead is about 10 inches across. I brought it back from one of our dog walks a few weeks ago. Each umbel looks like a little tree in itself. It's very crispy and delicate now so I thought I'd take a picture of it before it falls apart. I think the best parts of autumn are the lovely seedheads and the wonderful colours of the falling leaves.
