Sunset Heathrow Airport

The bonus of an evening departure is that you get all day to get ready for the trip, and in theory at least you just get on the plane and go to sleep.

The reality is that by the end of the day there is pretty much no chance of the flight being on time, and as soon as the plane leaves the ground you get a meal (of some sort) no matter what time of day it is.

To be fair our SriLankan Airlines flight was only an hour late and the food was really good.
