The view from the kitchen

Having missed out on the end of the world which then meant I had the joy and good fortune of having to work today, I was up relatively early. Saw this from the kitchen (while having some toast).

Soon winter will be here and the trees around this little compact and bejou flat will be bare ...

Wonder if we'll get snow this year ... ah those happy thoughts before one goes to work!
