The Edge of the Wold

By gladders

If you go down to the woods...

We took Stef and Noreen and the two little lads to Grizedale Forest today for a walk around the wood spotting sculptures. The lads were game for one of the longer walks. On the way back we found this steel bird perched on a stump among the trees, it can only be a raven with a bill that size.

Our NZ blippers will be heartily pleased and relieved tonight after the narrow victory over the French. France acquitted themselves well on the day, but the right team one. How have they gone 24 years since last winning it, while they have been so consistently dominant? Shows even the All Blacks are just a tiny bit fallible.

A quick blip tonight I have to catch up with a TV programme tonight at 9 pm.
