Redundant

What, people keep asking us, do we want? What are the alternatives we propose?

Like what we have at the moment isn't so utterly beyond repair. And like it's not enough to actually be saying so.

And like there is no alternative.

Such a lack of imagination. Or is it a lack of hope?

For the record, though, here's my answer. We need to agree first that people are harmed by what we have. And that this is not acceptable. And that we should therefore put the focus on the common good. That'll do for a start.
