days I'll remember

A Literary Tale

Wandering through Marchmont this morning I thought I could hear familiar music, something I hadn't heard in a long time; music that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. It was the opening bars of 'Gimme Shelter'. I looked up and saw that I was in Arden Street, and sure enough, this music was drifting from the flat of Inspector John Rebus (retired).

Those unfamiliar with John Rebus see here: REBUS.

Made a return to the bike co-op this morning and bought a pair of black cycling trousers to match the black kit I purchased on Friday; I think I'm regressing to my youth. I think I'm also going to pass out when I see the size of my next Visa bill. Oh f*ck.

Shivers down my spine.
