Slow enough for me to capture!

I came accross this charming lkittle fellow on a walk along the Canal this afternoon.
He (oe she?) Was very obliging and let me remove him from the cycle path, place him somewhere a bit safer and let me take a couple of pictures before vanishing into the undergrowth.
Soon be time for him to hibernate.
