English Breakfast for Lunch

In 1983 the three of us, I, my wife, our younger son and our new car took a ferry from Reykjavik to Newcastle England. We drove to London, down to Brighton, north to The Lake District and then on Hadrian's Wall to Newcastle to take the ferry back to Iceland. The ferry was a one year happening.
We used B&B all the time and had many different variations of the English Breakfast.
The best one we had was in Wales where we stayed with a delightful old lady. Ever since when we have bacon and eggs, we have tomatoes and mushrooms, but we skip the spicy sausage.
