Well, the hubs ended up having an appendectomy. We are lucky enough to have nice nursing staff. And even luckier to have great family and friends who made it so our dog is being taken care of and I didn't have to buy one meal the entire day. One friend even left a sweet message on the board in the hospital room. Apparently, watching Vampire Diaries is a priority.
