Love a Duck !!!

Evening all ;0)

Lovely day out today. I love cake (as you know!!) but running a close second....a very close second......a cooked breakfast !! Off we went heading nowhere in particular and had a fabulous cooked breakfast then drove to Culross.

Culross (Coo-ros) is a beautiful seaside town with a Royal Palace.....doesn't look very regal, but beautiful still the same. I'll upload pictures to flickr tomorrow so you can all see. Saw these ducks leaving a shop, loved them but dont think this could happen to them lol ;0)

In Culross, a legend states that when the British princess (and future saint) Theneu or Enoch, daughter of the King of Lothian, fell pregnant before marriage, her family threw her from a cliff.(Nice family!!) She survived the fall unharmed, and was soon met by an unmanned boat. She knew she had no home to go to, so she got into the boat; it sailed her across the Firth of Forth to land at Culross where she was cared for by Saint Serf; he became foster-father of her son, Saint Kentigern or Mungo (d. 612). And the rest is lengendary!! ;0)

Back along the road to Dalgety Bay and to watch a Tanker coming alongside my work. (Mamma G not seen this!)

Now time to get ready to head out for nightshift !!

Have a great evening ;0)

TTFN ;0)
