a wintry walk...

...in freshly fallen snow

what a difference a day makes -- going from bright, sunny and golden to:

white and beautiful...

hushed and quiet...

snow falling in a silent mist.

it didn't stop them from getting out for a brisk walk when others were nowhere to be found in the park... it was them - and me.

so difficult to put my tootsies into shoes, but no worries... the forecast is for temps to be back in the 60's by the end of the week - when the snow will be but a memory... for now - it's nice to enjoy the gentle engulfing that comes with snowfall - a time for staying inside with the furnace on... putting a pot of soup on the stove and cookies in the oven... snuggling under covers to stay warm - and be thankful i have the resources available to me... these are blessings that
