H2 is playing at blipping

Gilded skyline

Today I was having a conversation with a very interesting researcher. We were talking about the first Waterloo Bridge, opened in 1817 and built from Cornish granite. How amazing it must have looked, polished granite, after a shower of rain, with the sun reflecting from the water of the Thames. That's a sight I would have liked to have seen. And blipped, of course.

Then I left the building I was working in and stood, waiting for the no 59 bus, looking out over the second Waterloo Bridge, built from Portland stone and not nearly so ornate. It was wet from a recent shower and the sun was shining on the roof of the buildings nearby. Nice moment.

Points for anyone who can spot the bonus feature near the top of the tallest golden building. You might want to look at it large.
