Es-carp-ay!

We thought the cat had put a dead little friend under the fridge, and was sitting guarding it in case it resurrected. Then we thought it was a little odd that he was really guarding the fridge, including leaping around from side to side. Then he started to chase something around the kitchen. And so I stepped into the affray and pulled the horrible cat off this poor little guy. Not sure how he'll go, he seemed pretty shocked, but eventually shuffled off after letting me take a few photos.

I do wish we could train this behaviour out of the cat. He seems to think they're friends to play with, and then they're dead and boring. At least he hasn't started just leaving the guts behind...

And have a look large - that little bit of fluff is something he picked up under the fridge.
