Bangers and Mash

I made posh bangers and mash for tea tonight. Barking doesn't eat red meat so she had chicken sausages, I had proper pork sausages from the butchers. The posh bit was the caramelised red onions and the parmesan mash. Washed down with a bottle of Black Sheep Ale, lovely.

I had this idea of making peanut butter and chocolate cookies while the oven was on for the caramelised onions. However, boiling the potatoes in the kitchen, cooking the sausages on the barbeque outside and making the cookies inside proved a bit much. Barking finished them off for me. Thanks babe.
