What is it with me?

I needed a new labtop at work cause my old one died (again...).

My external drive slowly collapsed the past few days threatening to take all my pictures with it to nirvana. Currently a friendly geek is trying to rescue at least some of the lot (bless you...).

One of my lenses starts dying as well. When having taken a picture the camera needs to "think about it" first for a while before showing me the pic. Doesn't do that with the other lenses.

Sigh. I seem to have an interfering electrosmog aura.
