Spiders...

As November approaches, spider season is in full swing. As the 8 legged monsters make their way into my living room, my irrational dislike of all things aracnid is fuelled. While the tiny ones are ok, critters like the fellae here are NOT welcome. Neither was the jumping spider that ran across my floor the other day and definitely leaped through the air, with all 8 of its not so little legs clean off the ground. Conkers are apparently a spider deterrent. I prefer cups and windows, or slippers and books (the latter options kept for the more 'dangerous' ones).
