Entry 459 - London vigil against hate crime

I went along to the vigil held in Trafalgar square this evening. (Top Left) The candles that spelt out "No To Hate", (Top Right) Stuart Milk addresses the crowd. Stuart is the nephew of the famous Harvey Milk, whose life was made into a film called "Milk". (Bottom Left) I can't remember her name, but she read out a list of names of people who have been killed due to hate crimes. (Bottom Right) The scene at Trafalgar square.

Hate crimes are unacceptable. Don't just walk past when you see something, stop and help. Stuart Milk said it isn't enough to just "tolerate" difference anymore, we should celebrate it. I agree.
