Happy Birthday, M25!

25 years old today and, like millions of us, I think I've spent a good part of that time sat on it....

25 (mildly interesting) facts about the M25.


Here's one more:

When I was 19, I got cut up by a car at a roundabout in Watford, pushed onto the M25 sliproad and ended up having to ride my 50cc moped along the hard shoulder until I could get off at the next junction. Anyone got any other (and hopefully better!) M25 stories?
