Goodbye Summer...

Tonight we go back to Greenwich Mean time, and the start of winter. That means
it's telescope season, especially when the nights are really cold, and crisp. Good nights for observing, and also being frozen to the equipment!!

This little flower is from our wee patch of Wild Alpine Strawberries, we
never got any fruit... the slugs were too quick! Maybe next year we'll be more
lucky :)

Still getting to grips with the extension tubes, I suppose I should try stopping down the aperture to increase DOF, or try layering at different apertures...
