Lisbon's Bairro Alto has so many bars that it's impossible to recall the names of most of them - that is, if they have a name visible at all. That can only be a good thing - bars are perhaps the only thing that can improve any given metropolitan area by virtue of greater density and concentration. This cannot be said of cats. If there were as many cats in the Bairro Alto as there were bars it would be a vile and pestilent place. Fortunately I never saw one.
