Last night in Bologna

This is taken from the middle of the piazza Maggiore when we were out, along with everyone else, for our passeggiata. We didn't realize it would be our last night in Bologna until we got back to our hotel and found out that our Air France flight on November 1st had been cancelled due to a strike. A little scrambling ensued and we managed to get on a flight a day earlier than we'd expected, on October 31st. There was lots of waiting in line to check baggage and pick it up, but beside that, the trip back went well.

This Sunday in Bologna was a museum day... we visited the 18th century science museum in the Palazzo Poggi and the music museum. We also had another amazing meal. Best order was by Th yet again... we learned that "caramelle" are pasta that look like wrapped candies, stuffed with ham and parmesan cheese. Yum!

We'll have to go back to Bologna to visit the places we didn't get to.
