Westport to Lake Mahinapua

We left Westport in the grey, and arrived at Lake Mahinapua in the brilliant sunshine. So straight into shorts and swimmies and down to the lake. I was tempted to jump in the lake, but what with feeling a bit under the weather I felt not jumping in a freezing cold lake was a great life choice. The lads on the other hand needed no encouragement. It's amazing what peer pressure and a bit of bravado will make you do!
