Peace Lily

I think this might also be called a Jack in the Pulpit. It's one of my favorite plants. I've had it for a many years.

It's such a drama queen. When it needs watered it droops terribly...like it won't survive another minute. Then when it gets water you can almost watch the leaves lift. It's pretty incredible.

You can tell by the picture that it's blooming right now. It blooms fairly often, but is always a little bit of a surprise...all these big green leaves and then a simple white flower...subtle and stately.
