one of the competition on "Hobnob". Hobnob (cs: potlach) is a kind of joyride (2-4 days) where you meet with your old friends from all around the country once-twice a year on some specific place somewhere in woods (depends who organize it). there is usually about 50-100 people aged 0-100 years :)
There are about 2-4 competitions during a day - the most common are trying to hit the mark by throwing the axe (hit the tree), shooting with a mangonel (the mark is usualy a bottle pendent on a tree) and singing competition. In the evening trampers stand around the fired wood pagoda, sing tramper's anthem and usualy also put candles around the fire as a memory of trampers who are not with them anymore.
