Halloween went missing

OK, so we do live a little bit off the beaten track, and we haven't had more than 20 kids calling for trick or treat for a few years now

But this Halloween, we had none. Zilch. Nada.

Not even the cheeky teenagers who show up at 10pm lugging their pillow cases full of loot.

Down at The Well, it was very quiet, only a few of the people that work there had costumes, and maybe one customer.
Here's a cat, a bunny, a cowboy and a nerd. (Leaving the red eye just seems proper)

I guess that celebrating Halloween on Saturdays is what we need to do
