Purple Rain

Had a few minutes in the garden this morning and knowing it was going to be a full on day, every opportunity to blip must be taken! There may be no more sunflower blips for a while, but drip blips? I expect so!

This winter pansy will hopefully be providing a splash of colour in the garden for a few months.

Meanwhile the rucksack is packed and it's heavy! This time tomorrow a couple of mates and I will be hiking up a mountain in the Lake District for the first night of a weekend backpacking. It's surprisingly warm but as we'll be sleeping up high I've packed Winter gear. Better to be too warm than too cold! A drop of Single Malt will also be making the trip in case a bit of warming up is required.

Apparently there's a good chance of a cloud inversion on Saturday Morning. At its most basic terms, a cloud inversion is when the cloud sits in the valley, leaving the mountain tops clear. Sometimes it's like a carpet with just the peaks visible. With a bit of luck we'll catch one and blip it!

The weather's looking OK - I might get a chance to comment tomorrow lunchtime but otherwise I'll catch up on Sunday!

Have a great weekend Blippers :o)
