Darwin-train

One of the tram carriages in Cologne is decorated throughout on the theme of Evolution, by 20 art students from Cologne University. You never know when the tram you board is going to be this one.

"The inside of the tram takes different topics within evolution, in an artistic way, to illustrate the role of evolutionary theory in the understanding of life on Earth, and to explain its significance as an important research discipline. As a piece of 'rolling art' the outside will awaken curiosity about Darwin and his scientific followers. The project is supported by the KVB and the Cologne Outdoor Advertising Ltd., which provides a vehicle for this particular purpose."
