Here comes the Summer...

Buttercups. They always remind me of the long summer days of the school holidays when I was a child.

In those days, where we lived, children would often go roaming about in the farmers' fields, running about among the long grass, the Buttercups (Ranunculus acris), the Bistort (Polygonum bistorta), and -- often -- the Common Spotted Orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii), too.
