Farmhouse Mantle

I was at the home of my Aunt Mary today and, as we were leaving, she pointed out the mantle she had refinished 20 years ago when my Uncle Jack was alive. She is proud that the finish has held up all this time.

The guns belong to my cousins and are used to keep "varments" out of the fruit and vegetable plots which can be seen from the back pourch.
