Day 2 - Hot, hot hot

We were up early in our cabin - Findlay wanting to expore at 5.00am!!

We woke to 3 deer in the garden and blue sky over the bay. I went out for an hour on the bike, got to get used to the hills!! We pottered round Lochinver had a pie from the Lochinver Larder and went to the beach.

I had never been this far north, the beach was amazing (Achmelvich). Turquoise water, white sand and sunshine, Findlay loved it, several mouthfuls of sand, and two paddles in the very cold water ... he loved it!
