Congratulations Richard and Fiona

The wedding, and what a wedding it was. Fiona and Richard were married at Achmelvich beach, and the weather was fantastic, really perfect. It was such a great day, happy, relaxed and everything was very beautiful - a perfect start to married life. Richard and Fiona both looked fantastic. This is a picture of Fiona and her Dad, Alisdair. Nick said he had a lump in his throat as she walked on to the beach behind the piper (I am slowly making Nick into an honorary Scot...hillwalking, bike rides in the highlands etc etc....and it seems to be working!), so it had to be this photo, but please take my word for it that Richard looked great too!

The reception was in the village hall in Lochinver. Findlay was very well behaved, ate some haggis and then fell asleep for the meal. Then Granny stepped in and babysat while we all enjoyed the dancing and free bar - lovely, thanks Mum!
